2024 Recap...
Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thank you for making the first annual Andy’s Bikes from Heaven Memorial Fundraiser and Bicycle Ride an unforgettable tribute to Andy Zigler’s legacy! It was a heartfelt gathering of friends, family, and supporters who came together to honor Andy through a shared passion for biking, community, and giving back.

The day could not have been more perfect weather-wise. We likely got lucky having it as late as we did in October, so for future years, I’ll plan for the ride in September to keep those beautiful conditions. After the ride, at the fundraiser portion, the clown bikes and unicycles brought endless fun for everyone. Watching participants tackle the bikes was a highlight that truly captured Andy’s spirit of lightheartedness and brought people together in laughter and camaraderie. A special thanks to The Bike Elves and Al Siegener for generously providing these unforgettable bikes!

Along with the bike ride itself, which featured games and challenges at stops along the scenic route, we raised over $5,200 together! Thanks to the generosity of everyone who rode, attended, volunteered, donated raffle/silent auction items, or contributed financially. Proceeds from the event will be gifted in the form of parts and necessities to The Bike Elves, helping them provide children in need with bicycles—just as Andy would have wanted. Additional contributions will be made to UW Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Andy’s honor, supporting crucial mental health resources.
This year’s event was more than just a fundraiser; it was a beautiful gathering of remembrance and generosity, marking the beginning of a tradition that will keep Andy’s impact alive for years to come. I look forward to making next year’s ride even more special and hope to see you all there again.

Thank you for being a part of Andy’s legacy and helping us make a difference.

With gratitude,
